The first edition of Colombo Institute’s ‘Poetry Bazaar’ got underway at Expographic Books, Battaramulla with their collaboration on 7th September 2025. Poetry Bazaar aims to facilitate the reading and discussion of poetry from the Global South in Sinhala and English languages. It is conceived as a monthly and informal program with a small gathering. The first edition focused on Sasanka Perera’s collection, Let Us be Silent (2025) published by Sarasavi Publishers. The presentation was planned and moderated by Pooja Kalita.
